Dr. Chris Alexander, PhD, PE, is the Founder and President of ADV Integrity, Inc. He has more than 25 years’ experience in designing, evaluating, and testing a wide range of technologies, including the use of composite materials in repairing high pressure pipelines and offshore risers.
Director - Destructive Testing
Chantz Denowh, PhD, PE has spent the last seven years conducting full-scale testing and analysis to create, calibrate, and validate integrity assessments and remediation methods for the midstream industry.
Director - Materials Engineering
David Futch, PE has worked in the oil and gas industry since 2012, specializing in midstream pipeline materials, welding, and corrosion. At ADV Integrity, he guides clients through failure analysis programs, repair technique selection, material degradation phenomena, material selection, and welding-related issues.

Atul Ganpatye, PE has over 12 years of experience specializing in integrity assessment of onshore and offshore equipment. His focus areas have included offshore and onshore and casing integrity, weak point assessments, global finite element analysis, and engineering support for failure analysis.

Wendy Courtright has been with Chris Alexander since 2011 serving previously as his assistant and now as Vice President of Operations at ADV Integrity, Inc. for the last 3 years.

Damodaran Raghu, who goes by Raghu, has over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and specialized manufacturing.
Dr. Chris Alexander, PhD, PE, is the Founder and President of ADV Integrity, Inc. He has more than 25 years’ experience in designing, evaluating, and testing a wide range of technologies, including the use of composite materials in repairing high pressure pipelines and offshore risers. Chris has been personally involved in assessing the effects of dents and mechanical damage on the structural integrity of onshore and offshore pipelines. His work has involved finite element analysis, in situ monitoring, and full-scale destructive testing.
He received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University, where as an undergraduate student he was a member of the Corps of Cadets, Ross Volunteer Company, and Drum Major in the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band. He is also a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Texas. Chris has authored more than 130 technical papers and has made presentations internationally on various subjects.
Chris spends time outside of work with his wife, Tanya, and their three children and son-in-law. He is an avid reader, Bible teacher, enjoys running, periodic golfer, flies radio-controlled airplanes, past Chairman of the Rosehill Christian School Board, and is an Elder at Magnolia Bible Church. He is author of Be the Beans and co-hosts the Business by the Books podcast with his daughter, Ashley.
Chantz Denowh, PhD, PE has spent the last seven years conducting full-scale testing and analysis to create, calibrate, and validate integrity assessments and remediation methods for the midstream industry. At ADV Integrity, Chantz is the Director of Lab Operations and specializes in full-scale test design. Chantz also has expertise in the integrity assessment and testing of spoolable pipe products including API 15S qualification tests and the use of spoolable pipes for pipeline remediation.
Chantz received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical engineering from Montana State University. He is a licensed professional engineer in Texas, a published author, and is involved with several professional organizations, including ASME.
Chantz grew up in Montana, where he met his wife Bridget, whom he married in 2018. Bridget and Chantz enjoy spending time outdoors hiking and skiing. In his spare time, Chantz also does woodwork and builds furniture for their home.
David Futch, PE has worked in the oil and gas industry since 2012, specializing in midstream pipeline materials, welding, and corrosion. At ADV Integrity, he guides clients through failure analysis programs, repair technique selection, material degradation phenomena, material selection, and welding-related issues.
Prior to joining ADV, David was a Materials and Corrosion Engineer for ExxonMobil Pipeline Company, where he was responsible for the midstream pipeline repair program, pipeline welding program, materials selection, regulator inquiries, and failure analysis work. Before ExxonMobil, he worked at a consulting firm where he performed over 100 failure analyses and integrity assessments related to pipeline materials.
David received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Materials Science and Engineering, with a focus in Metallurgy, from the University of Florida. He has published papers at industry conferences, PRCI, and API. He is a registered Professional Engineer (Metallurgical) in the State of Texas.
When David is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife Alicia and their son, Rhett, hunting, fishing, and golfing.
Atul Ganpatye, PE has over 12 years of engineering consulting experience specializing in integrity assessment of onshore and offshore equipment. His focus areas have included offshore and onshore and casing integrity, weak point assessments, global finite element analysis, and engineering support for failure analysis. He has been involved with several hindcasting efforts directed toward simulating failure modes in well systems. At ADV, Atul is a senior associate who works on pipe performance and failure modes, inspection techniques, and repair technologies through full-scale testing and analysis.
He received his B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Mumbai University and his M.S. degree in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University and is a licensed Professional Engineering in the state of Texas.
Outside of work, Atul enjoys painting with watercolors and performing martial arts.
Wendy Courtright has been with Chris Alexander since 2011 serving previously as his assistant and now as Vice President of Operations at ADV Integrity, Inc. for the last 3 years.
Having served in a support capacity and as an Executive Assistant for a financial planning firm in the Philadelphia area and then at Wheaton College in Illinois, Wendy has tremendous experience and strength in organization and facilitating the many demanding tasks and aspects needed to help Chris in his leadership role at ADV Integrity.
Additionally, as co-founder and Vice President of IDT EXPO, her relationship skills and team building help to create successful events and make integral connections between technology companies and the full-scale testing services that ADV Integrity offers to the pipeline industry.
Wendy is a Pennsylvania native and met her husband, Brian, online, while she worked in Illinois. After a short long-distance relationship, they married in 2001 and have since lived in the greater Houston area. In her spare time and those early work-out mornings, she is passionate about health and fitness and loves to spend time with her husband.
Buddy Powers has spent over twenty years within the pipeline industry and is responsible for market adoption and connecting across a wide range of pipeline operators. His background includes engineering services, regulatory compliance, field services, and product innovations during his time as a driving force behind composite repair acceptance in the pipeline industry. At ADV Integrity Buddy serves as the Director of Business Development.
Prior to joining ADV, Buddy worked for CS-NRI as Vice President in Product Management and Technical Services and was responsible for the US sales team. In addition to his time at CS-NRI, Buddy served as MMT’s Director of Business Development from June of 2019 until he joined ADV Integrity full-time in March of 2022.
Buddy has a BS in chemical engineering, holds a Product Management Certification from UC Berkeley Haas School of Business, and is a member of ASME South Texas Chapter.
Outside of work, Buddy spends time with his wife, Christy, and their four children, who are active in competitive sports, band, school, church small groups and support various community activities in the Katy-Fulshear area. The family enjoys spending time hiking the Texas Hill Country, kayaking lakes, and generally spending their time outdoors.
Amanda is the Controller of ADV Integrity, Inc. and has gathered more than 10 years of experience in the accounting and finance industry. Before joining ADV, Amanda worked for Hobas Pipe USA as the Senior Accountant, then Director of Finance. Before Hobas Pipe USA, she gained experience while working as an Accounting Manager for a gas turbine repair company, then as the Audit Senior for two public accounting firms.
Amanda received her B.S. degree in Technology Leadership and Supervision, with a minor in Graphic Design, from the University of Houston, then earned her M.S. degree in Accountancy from the University of Houston – Clear Lake. During her time as a graduate student, Amanda served as a member of Beta Alpha Psi, an International Honor Organization for Financial Information Students and Professionals. Following graduation, Amanda quickly earned the certifications to become a Certified Fraud Examiner and Certified Public Accountant.
Outside of the workplace, Amanda loves spending time with her six-year-old son Flynn. Some of their favorite activities include taking drum lessons, practicing taekwondo, and playing video games together. She is an avid reader and enjoys any kind of crafting, from refinishing furniture to painting and drawing. Overall, Amanda cherishes any time with her friends and family.
As a young engineer, Ahmed Hassanin, MS-MET has built an excellent reputation in Finite Element Analysis and validates results with testing. Part of his work as an analyst is problem identification, which is a key aspect of any Finite Element model. Using ADV Integrities full-scale testing facility Ahmed can validate the numerical results from the FEA with experimental testing. This aspect is important because Ahmed can correlate a model’s output with the test lab’s actual experienced behavior.
Ahmed received his B.S and M.S in mechanical engineering from the University of Houston. He was an adjunct lecturer on strength in materials, computer-aided design, and fluid mechanics after completing his degrees.
Ahmed is also a partner in a family-owned coffee shop and juice bar in Los Angeles, CA. When Ahmed is not at work, he and his wife, Amanda, enjoy working out and hiking together with their dog, Sky. In his spare time, Ahmed also enjoys drawing.
Emmanuel Valencia, MS started as an intern at ADV Integrity, specializing in machine learning integration, data analysis, and operations automation. Now, as an integrity engineer, Emmanuel works within the pipeline integrity group.
Emmanuel received B.S in Mechanical engineering from Texas A&M University in May of 2020. He is currently working on his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering and is expected to graduate from Texas A&M in May of 2022. The work that Emmanuel does at ADV Integrity and his research for his master go hand in hand. He currently collects globally available data from the industry and integrates machine learning to see future predictions.
When Emmanuel is not busy with school and work, he serves his community through a Latino Bible study, Destino. He also plays the piano for his church and enjoys watching movies.
Travis Greenstreet is a Test Engineer of ADV Integrity, Inc. He received his bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and is currently pursuing his Master of Science. As part of his master’s program, Travis worked as a Research Assistant at the university’s turbomachinery lab. As a Research Assistant, he worked closely with companies to conduct component-level testing for turbomachinery and related equipment.
Outside of the workplace, Travis enjoys hiking, spending time outdoors, and reading a good book. Most of all, Travis loves to spend his free time with friends and family.
Francisco assists with ADV Integrity’s mechanical testing offerings and metallurgical examinations. Francisco earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston and began working for Argen Labs (now Element) immediately after graduation. He remained there for three years before he found his way to ADV Integrity, Inc.
In his spare time, Francisco prioritizes his time with his family, particularly his nephew, who he enjoys spoiling. He stays active by playing pickleball with his friends most days of the week.
Cary Windler, PE, M.Ed has over 17 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, specializing in pipeline integrity and integrity management programs. In his current role at ADV Integrity, he assists clients with testing protocol development to ensure safe operations of their pipelines. He also assists clients with root-cause analysis when incidents can’t be prevented.
Before joining ADV Integrity, Cary was the Director of GIS and Integrity Management for Enable Midstream Partners. In this role, he led all aspects of the Integrity Management Program for oil and gas pipelines, including program development, risk and spill modeling, assessments, repairs, and preventive and mitigative measures.
Prior to Enable Midstream Partners, Cary spent 20 years in the United States Air Force, primarily as an instructor pilot in the T-37, T-38, and B-52 aircraft. Additionally, Cary was a Flight Safety Officer tasked with investigating aircraft mishaps – focusing on root causes and prevention.
He received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University and his M.Ed. from Wayland Baptist University. Cary is a registered Professional Engineer in the States of Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma.
Damodaran Raghu, who goes by Raghu, has over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and specialized manufacturing. His specialty areas involve asset integrity of both pipelines and plants, integrity management, corrosion and materials engineering, specialized inspection, and technical assurance. In this current role with ADV Integrity, Raghu will be assisting the efforts to grow the energy transition part of the business – primarily focused on carbon capture, hydrogen, and biofuels by leveraging the testing, pipeline transportation and storage strengths of ADV Integrity. Raghu will also assist in business development by articulating strategic plans for clients in their energy transition journey.
Prior to joining ADV Integrity, Raghu worked for Royal Dutch Shell from where he retired after 20 years of service. Prior to retiring Raghu was Shell’s global general manager for materials engineering and construction, a portfolio that encompassed integrity engineering and management, corrosion and materials engineering, energy transition and digital transformation with teams in the US, Netherlands, Qatar, and India. Raghu was also the Global Technical Authority (TA-1/ highest level) in Shell in the areas of materials and integrity being accountable for risk management decisions in this discipline. Raghu’s experience spans upstream, midstream, and downstream in operations, engineering research and development.
Raghu has a BS (Metallurgical Engineering) and MS (Corrosion Engineering) from Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai (Bombay). He is a Chartered Engineer in the UK (CEng).
Raghu has been married to Bindu for 31 years and they are the proud parents of a 27-year-old son and a 23-year-old daughter. He resides in Cypress and although not born in Texas, he made sure to get to Texas as fast as he could and made it his home.
