JOINT INDUSTRY PROGRAM FORMATION
Collaboration across the pipeline industry can be complicated to organize. Joint Industry Programs (JIPs) are an extremely effective way to address industry‐specific challenges through collaboration.
At ADV Integrity, we partner with industry to evaluate and better understand the capabilities and limitations of today’s technology. These objectives are met by single client initiatives or participation in a Joint Industry Program (JIP). Through JIPs, we bring together key players to solve the industry’s most challenging problems.
Oil & Gas operators play a central role in the services offered by ADV Integrity. The collaboration associated with JIPs is an excellent alternative to a single operator attempting to solve the same problem, not to mention the financial benefits and returns on investment associated with the typical JIP involving ten or more participants. It is common for JIPs to focus on either the development or assessment of technologies.

The energy industry depends on technology for safety, reliability, and efficiency. When technology works, incredible things happen. When technology doesn’t work or doesn’t do as advertised to work, risk is imposed on operational activities.
ADV partners with oil & gas operators to identify the best technology for a given scenario. By understanding market needs and utilizing advanced engineering methods, we evaluate technology and technology-oriented services to reduce risks for an industry where reliability is critical.
Since 2005, Dr. Chris Alexander has served as Principal Investigator on more than 25 JIPs. If you are interested in having ADV assist you in organizing a JIP for your company, please contact us!
